Due to the increase in the flow of Tourists in the Himalayas more of local people are involved in the activities but most of the local people lack the basic knowledge in Wilderness aids. Hence Himalayan Summits in collaboration with International Mountaineering Leadership Institute (IMLI) have started workshops on training the local people and also interested tourists and educating them with the basic knowledge of Wilderness Aids in various parts of the Himalayas. In the coming summers there will be workshop in Ladakh for which the dates are to be announced.
